Elina is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Microbiology. Her passion for veterinary medicine began early, and in 2018, she became a NAVTA-certified Veterinary Assistant—an achievement that launched her into a dynamic and rewarding career in animal care.
Since then, Elina has built a strong foundation through hands-on experience in both clinical and research settings. Her background includes overnight care in equine ICU, support roles in small animal general practice, and contributions to infectious disease research in university laboratories. She brings a calm, confident presence and a well-rounded skill set to our small animal team at Reata.
