Lani

Veterinary Assistant

Lani’s passion for animal care started early through her involvement in 4-H, where she showed rabbits and poultry and developed a strong foundation in animal husbandry and responsibility. That early hands-on experience sparked her interest in veterinary medicine and set her on the path she’s on today.

She further explored the field by completing her Senior Exit Project (SEP) through shadowing at a veterinary clinic, where she gained firsthand insight into small animal medicine and the day-to-day work of a veterinary team. Lani now works with our small animal team while continuing to grow her skills and knowledge.

When she’s not in the clinic, Lani is attending Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician Program and is on track to graduate later in 2026. She is dedicated to learning, compassionate patient care, and becoming a well-rounded veterinary technician.
