Equine Team Lead / Certified Veterinary Technician


Briana was born and raised in Tucson, where her passion for animals began early through raising horses and goats. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for her career in veterinary medicine. In 2019, she graduated from PMI's Veterinary Technician Program and then earned her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Since then, Briana has specialized in large animal care, dedicating her professional efforts to the health and well-being of equine and livestock patients.

As the Equine Team Lead at Reata, Briana plays a key part in delivering high-quality veterinary care, particularly in the field of equine medicine. Her skills in patient handling, diagnostics, and client education make her an invaluable member of the Reata team. Additionally, she manages our in-house laboratory equipment. 

Briana is also committed to advancing the veterinary technician profession. She is an active member of both the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians (AAEVT) and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), staying engaged with the latest developments in her field. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Arizona Veterinary Technician Association (AZVTA), where she advocates for education, professional standards, and technician recognition across the state.

Currently, Briana is furthering her education by pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Appalachian State University, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and continued professional growth.
